We got really lucky here in short term housing in Pensacola. Hurricane Michael thrashed much of the surrounding area, but here we got off relatively easy. The waves were big, and some f the roads were closed due to flooding, but we did not get a storm surge. Our neighbors did not all fare as well as we did, however, and so we are going to need to work together as a community to aid friends and family and strangers who have been severely impacted by the storm. It is not our first, and will not be our last. Florida comes together in times of need like this. If it is your first hurricane and are in need of anything, know we are here for you.
