It is always fun to see somewhere you know on film. One place you can see the local area on the silver screen (really!) is 12 O’clock High. The 1949 film stars superstar Gregory Peck, and was mostly filmed at Eglin Air Force Base. They used actual B-17 bombers that were used in atomic testing (so they didn’t use them for very long). You can have a movie night in your short term rentals in Panama City and then check out the area around Eglin to see how it has changed!
